PEOPLE NEED TO STOP GIVING ME THINGS!! IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I'M ACTUALLY WORTH SOMETHING!!!

My next door neighbor's brother is in charge of moving his brother (my neighbor, and great-great-uncle-on-down-the-line) into a nursing home and has to sell the farm- and all that stuff that now has nowhere to go -to pay for the nursing home bill. So, in exchange for my help in cleaning out what is left after the garage sale and before he goes back to New Jersey, he is going to give me a simplicity broadmoor like the one in the pic below. I almost wish it would have sold at the sale, so I didn't feel like I was ripping him off. But, the tractor is in sad, sad shape.. the sheet metal is good, but it is firing on only one cylinder (there is no compression in the other one, and the push rod to one of the OHV's is.. well, you can just pull it out if you pull the cover off. Oh, yeah, it leaks engine oil and hydro oil, too.) In short, I'm not driving it another foot.

That's cool tho'.. You can spend a few dollars (hopefully) and sell it later for a profit to raise some cub funds! It's good of you to help out a neighbor too!

probly more than a few dollars, but that is the idea.. Fix everything, wash and wax it, and maybe trade it for a quietline or an 82 series. Or, maybe I'll keep it as the dedicated mower.. not sure, yet.
