My Original

I acquired this tractor 20 years ago and have only used it for maybe 40 hours.

It has all original metal. The grille will replacing along with the brake return spring. It still has the original fender reflectors. And I do have a mower deck and snow blade.

I do have a pair of 6-12 tires and wheels to go on it.

So here are the $3.00 questions.

What year is this? The serial # is 10017 (see picture)

Will I destroy its value if I install the aftermarket IH 1066 rear fenders?

I spent an hour today and I have the hood 95% straightened.

I will buy a grille and repair its wiring and repaint it.

It was made in May of 61'
It will be worth more with the original fenders.

Is this a model 70?

And did this model ever have headlights? If yes any idea what the H/L mounting panel looked like?

The title of this thread is "My Original." That is what your's is. Yes, this model had the optional headlights that mounted on the outside.
