Hey, Wilbur, remember the time the dog wouldn't start at all? Lucy acts that way when she's running out of fuel. (Hint, hint).

So did blow air though the valve to see if it was open, all was good there , so on I moved to the hose at the bottom of the tank and blew air through. Rinsed the tank and now I`ll put it back in.I think a floor jack will vent to the pump. So thats my next move here.My cat o should be here Wednesday and the rear ports and the cat o can be installed .Thanks for all the help cause with out your help I would be lost.

Don, when I redid my 782D and put it back together it leaked fuel some. I found that I had pinched the line a bit. That pulled the little shut off over a bit and it leaked. Anyhoo, Be sure your line is not piched by the fenders and be sure your line in new. Mine was soft and would collapse after a while. Might help.

This should make the 1512 diesel into a great tractor for me here. Cat O arrive this am and I looked it all over and can say that I like what I saw , Aaron at http://www.xtrememotorworks.com/ does a fine job on these Cat O`s and was a great guy to deal with.He send me an extra along with my order and the key fob will go on my Original that i`am painting now.All the parts are bagged and seperate and will be a snap to put together I can tell. I might have to pour a drink of scotch and celeberate. lol I can`t waite to get this painted and installed on my 1512. Its going to be Cat`s A$$ I think . later Don T

Pretty darn amazing when you stop to think of the time and effort to design and build a "kit" like that. Seeing it there on your shop floor instead of the "stërile" ad pic puts it into a whole different perspective. MY $0.02 (USD).

you must have sprayed paint on you Cat O ? . I washed with greease and wax remover and buffed and used a brush to put on the rust paint. I will spray the last coat when its all together and installed.a little hardner in the paint and it should be good. I want to buy a lift cylinder for the Cat O and install a lift cylinder on my dump trailer for sure.I`ll be able to loade it with the 129 loader and dump with out haveing to get off the seat to tip it to dump.

found this in the box. it will go on my Original when I finish painting

And when I look at this post I see my 3 point that need paint and my Original deck spindle covers ,another day.

well i`am bumed today. Rain and high winds last night blew away 2 down spouts on the house and limbs on the roof this am. I took my tank valve strainer out to have another look to see where if it was pluged. Did not find anything wrong with the valve or filter or any other parts of the line pluged. another order to Caharlie for a 751-3008 bushing for the tank because it now leaks

. I wanted to install my cat O but can`t without installing the fuel tank. I will put it togethere but won`t bolt it on till my new hydro valves get here and other parts.can`t buy the same hyd ports here that take the clip .I can buy valves and weld them in and will look into that.I will take the trupowers off the 149 and install on my 1512 so at least I can work at the tractor and have some things done.

Well the fuel tank did not leak last night and Charlie is sending me a new plug so I have moved forward with the install of the cat o. I have the lift bar attached front and back and the rear end axel tube bolts and plates attached. They only thing so far
1a_scratchhead.gif
is if the brackets go out side or inside from the axel tube bracket. I`am sure I will see how it aligns later. Now to bolt this all together. I`am working alone and had to bend the frame apart so the Cat o frame will slide ahead inside the frame to install the bolts. More later

Well It took me some time to install that Cat O alone but I got it done lol

Charlie "Digger" Proctor

I`am off to town in the am and get a piece of fuel line so I can run my 1512.I have to install the rear ports also so I can put the fenders back on. I still don`t have couplers for the front and need to get some soon. I will have to Waite till I get the front couplers before I can install the rear. I was going to take my rear fenders to the body shop to get them welded back up from all the holes po put in them but that will wait for now.I will post some pictures when I finish putting the 1512 back together. Thanks Guys for all the help with my drive shaft mod and answering all my other questions. You are a great bunch here. Thanks

Don Tanner; If you have a shop close that works on hydraulics for the power co. they should have the hyd. couplers you need. They use those on the boom and on hydraulic tools.

Luther Ray Hinds
Yes they do have them ,but not with the clips to hold them in place like my Diesel had new.
I have ordered 2 front couplers and new fuel line and can`t waite to get this Diesel running. most of our snow is gone with 3 days of rain here. With the snow gone I will be able to get some seat time in for sure. My thanks To Aaron for a great fitting set up on the Cat O as I know I will enjoy using it.http://www.xtrememotorworks.com/ Just a great guy. I did install the rear couplers this am and now waite for the new fuel line to get here. Have great day.

Some days start out as ones that I would just soon forget,No sence in remembering downers. lol was invited out for breakfast this am and after left to put fuel in my truck and a FORD pulled up acrost the pump from me.The normal good days were pased and as he pumped diesel he ask about the cummings. Me I had to brag and say 746 klm mixed driving. He gets 17 mpg. but he says I don`t need springs! and he points to a broken helper.

. Fuel is 102.56 a liter here. So off to the guy I bought the Ram from, he runs a shop in his back yard after he quite the VW dealer here over $ per hr.He say we replace both rear helpers in the rear end springs. asking me about my Diesel tractor I said I needed 2 couplers for the front of my 1512 and he said, waite and smiled and said come with me to the office and he passed me 2 couplers that have been groved for a clip and said I paied $8.45 each , do you need them . I stammered yep and he said here!I just replace the O ring in my coupler and was good. Then I get home to a package from Kraig . I broke the fender support rod on my O when I took it apart . He giffed me the replacement. I have a few parts here that I will gift ,but shipping will kill me lol.So I now Can complete the 1512 with all the parts. Thanks to Charlie new fuel line is comming and new hyd release valves and a rear end gasket. Kraig thanks again

So was it a good day or a bad day? Now I have to go post "relevently". I saw that big red button. Or, to talk CCC, ever see a 710 light from an 1811?
biggrin.gif
186268.jpg

Should I send it to Charlie for the little poofs?

Matt: that comes from the blonde that went to the auto parts store and asked for the 710 cap.
smile.gif

Now tell me about 3 turn steering - that must be a CCC "upgrade" ??

Frank A. Currier(Northern Maine)
Yes Frank 3 turn steering was added by mtd and make a big difference in steering a tractor for sure.I`am out in my shop working at my Diesel getting the rear and front ports connected. Seems po decided he did not need front ports and bronzed the two holes shut where the front lines are to conect.
