Can anybody tell me if a deck from a mod 86 will fit my 104?

It should. You might have to mess with the hanger.

When you say mess. You mean cut/weld or just like something less permanent?
Since we have no idea what deck your talking about mounting up, there's not much point in going through all the scenarios of what might have to be done. All deck hangers are not created equal.
