working on a 1650 I just got cleaned carb and notice d my backing plate for my air cleaner was loose went to tighten the bolts and two wont tighten...great..so can i tap the holes? or would the aluminum not be strong enough to hold threads if i did tap it or should i just get a another carb this one works great no throttle shaft play just stripped holes only 2 are stripped. thanks in advance!
