IH 424

A buddy of mine has a 424 Diesel who wants to
add rear hydraulics to it.
Supposedly,there is a cover plate under the
seat that can be removed and the controls
added on. Has anyone done this or know of a kit
or parts to do this? I am not really firmilliar
with this tractor. Also does anyone know if
this tractor has open or closed center hydro system?

JIM - I'd suggest you post this question at "redpowermagazine.com" in the IH forum. There's quite a few people that have LOTS of experience with that vintage IH. Many there are parts people at dealers, service techs, etc.
