Cub Cadet will 3 point hitch work on a 1782 off of a 1861

Hi` Will a 3 point hitch off a 1861 Cub work on a 1782 Cub??

Kind of. It will physically bolt on, but the lift bar that goes from the tractor's rockshaft to the hitch rockshaft will need to be lenghtened, and it may not have the right geometry to work right with Cat 0 plows. The arms attach lower on an SGT 3-point than they do on a GT hitch like the 1861 hitch is. I don't think the plows will go far enough in the ground. That's just an observation though, and I don't know if it's true or not.

Now that's I've throughly confused you, the short answer is, with some modifications, yes.

Hi I continued calling Cub Dealers and I found out that the only 3 point hitch that will work on my 1782 is 1772,1782, 2182 and 2284. If anyone knows where I can find one Please let me know.
