I mentioned these cars to my wife. She inquired how fast they could go, I said it wasn't posted. She said, 'Well if they didnt go fast enough they would get a call to 'Get The Lead Out''!

Well at least they won't need the jaws of life to get the driver out, they'll probably leak out onto the ground. They only want to sell those things over here cause the folks over there can't afford them. $2500 a year SALARY, slave labor.

Just remember not to chew on them and wash your hands after handling one because they have to put that lead paint somewhere ...

Hey Kentuck, you see the new car released in India? $2500! Looks like an easter egg made from beer can stock. Another of those 'unsafe at any speed cars'. Wonder what the Chinese gonna say about that>

Allen - I read about those yesterday morning while you were still sleeping ;)
What I read [ can't find it 'cause the History cleared itself last night

] said some about Renault and their American partner looking into making a car under $3k.

Your link isn't showing the article in my 'scape browser.

Hey I could care less as long as they stay "in country".

Ken, Tata car co. in India just released a tiny car that runs compressed air. A carbon fiber tank that holds 4000# of air drives it !

I guess you could carry a 4k psi bicycle pump incase you run out of motion air ;)

I don't understand why these cars are so damned UGLY! can't these people make a car that is not only super effeciant but also easy on the eye?

Has anyone built a truely good looking car in the last 10 years (the Challenger and Camaro being the exception)?

I was thinking of the 69 Dodge Charger Daytona 500 and the 70 Plymouth Superbird. Gotta just love the winged wonders with the Hemi.

I'm for the 1977 Ford F-250. I miss that 400m
Would be better for me if I hit one of those chinese cars, a little paint and we're set.

Earl, " a little paint and wer're set...?" For who? I guess you, cause someone gonna need a load of JB Weld to fix that other tin can.

I can't imagine what would happen to one of those if I hit it with my truck. 6000 pounds of American iorn (yes American it's aincent) with a 400 pound brushgaurd/bumper. I've already demolished a ford escort with it. Just needed a little paint on the bumper and it was as good as new. One of those cars I'd crush like an empty beer can. I'd be afraid to see what the passengers would look like afterwards. I don't think the car would stand up real well against even a mini van.

Well guys i does make me wonder why the US and Canada can`t come up with more fuel eff Cars and Trucks! realy nothing has changed much over the years we had horse power and they took that away only now are they puting it Back in .
