I hate to break it to ya man, but the forum is not the place to air your personal problems.

Sorry, I couldn't resist!

On your bottom getting drug through the dirt thing.
IMHO, I would adjust the plow so it would not dig so deep, or get taller tires.

David - To check the ignition switch (put in netural, blades turned off!) and jump the sol. stud from the bat. to the stud coming from the switch. If it cranks over then the switch needs attention. If it doesn't crank the solenoid needs replaced. (or it's not grounded good)

Mark - There's a belt adjuster nut sticking through the front of the mule drive asslembly that you'll see (just under the grill frame in front), turn it left to take the tension off and the belt will slip off the idler.

Stephen N,

Go to the Classified Ad section here on the forum and place a listing in the "Wanted to By" section for a PTO clutch for a Quietline series. I got an used one the other month that way from a fellow forum member.

Anyone have the part number for a friction disc on a 104 front pto? How many "teeth" can be missing from this disc before it needs replacing?
TIA!!

Lyle, up to 4 lugs can be missing provided they are not all next to each other.

Lyle, not sure if the disc is sold separately or not, the Parts Lookup says "Order 759-3490".

how much oil does an oil tank hold if an oil tank could hold oil?

The oil tank in question is the add-on hydraulics ram for the old narrow frame cubs. I want to change the oil for plowing today. How much do I put in?

While I'm at it, how much do I pour into the manual transmission? (I may have to buy more!)

Just got off the phone with Bob H..
He just went out and test plowed all 4 fields that he has available and he says it's just dang near perfect plowing and he said BRING'UM ON!
It's a go!
