Im replacing my coil and was wondering if I should just order a stock spark plug wire or is there another one I should get?

Chuck F:

The Spark Plug Wire should be a metal core wire.

Hi Fellas -- I have a question: Will a headlight panel out of a CC 125 bolt into a 127 grill without difficulty?

My thoughts are "NO". I think only the headlight panel from a 73,106,107,or 126 will bolt into a 127 easily...

Thanks in advance for any help & guidance!

Hey Guy's, Wow thanks for the info. I'm thinking of picking up a owners manual. I will also look at the local tractor supply store for tires. Thanks again!

Jason, for an Owner's Manual check out the "Binder Books" link at the top of this page.

Pops is flying high!!! Just took the little 1000 to our great big tractor show. IE--"Old Boy Toys" here at Wabash, Indiana.

Many, many compliments, questions ect. (Hydro Harry; I even got asked about the missing left side panel)LOL. Had to come back to work but, wish I hadn't, anyway got invited to drive my Cubbie around downtown with the big old tractors in a little preview parade! I need to retire!!

Pictures to follow next week. (Hint, hint, Kraig) So after work if it is not raining going back down with my lovely wife. Crazy thing about those shows is they sell things. Somehow I got to convice my bride that I really need a Farmall 300 NF (1956) that keeps calling my name.

So "ol pops" is doing us guys good. Oh I did see a few of the old tractor Cub Cadets 1949 they are very interesting kinda remind you of a Farmall B or C. Have to check them out closer!

Here I go again with my 1650. I was having an issue with the pto not engaging and having to jump start the tractor. Checked everything. Replaced a bunch of stuff. Determined, or I thought, that it was the battery.

Bought a brand new battery. Everything is great. Mowed the lawn last week. 3 acres. Just mowed again, tractor started right up. 2 minutes from being complete, and it happened again. Motor starts to quit, I turn off the pto. Attempt to re-engage the pto, nothing. Turn the tractor off, attempt to re-start the tractor, nothing. Jump start, it starts fine.

Appears the battery is not charging. Can anyone help me with this? What would cause this?

Again, sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm trying to learn.

Thanks in advance for all of the help.

Ed
