I have a lead on a 582 Special that had the 16hp. B&S engine replaced with a 16hp. Kohler. Haven't seen it yet so don't know much more than that. Has anyhere done the 582 Special to 582 "standard" conversion?? Comments.

Sean, NICE tractor, nothin like a finished project

Sean-
Nice job on the 100! Is that a WHITE steering wheel I see? If so, let's see some more pics of that.

Also... What is that I spy in the background of your pic? Camaro/Firebird?

Art A

That looks like a late 60`s Camaro with the round tail lights.

Ken, I replaced the o-ring and brake pucks on my 122 over the summer, I took the trans out of the tractor and tilted it vertically up and took the reduction gear housing off this way you don't have to drain any of the fluid, make shure if you do this you put the bolts back in where the frame bolts to the axel tubes or fluid will pour out of them when you tilt it (don't ask how I know).

Sean B. Very nice looking 100.

Last week there was a nice discussion about torque/re-toruqing head bolts when installing a new head gasket. Here is some pretty neat reading about head bolts... CLICK HERE.
