TOM - Yes, the M is a little taller/bigger than the Super H to begin with, and even though both loaders have the same size cylinders, 2-1/2" bore X 30 inch stroke, the loader on the M has different geometry that lets it lift higher and also lift more, but that is mostly do to the hyd pump on the M making more PSI. I checked the pump pressure on the Super H several years ago, it only makes about 850-900 PSI, and the M has the M&W live pump which is supposed to make 1200 PSI. The M is just a beefier tractor than a Super H and can handle the stresses of a loader a whole bunch better than a Super H so I've never looked at rebuilding or replacing the factory live pump on the Super H. The loader on it lifts as much as I want the tractor to handle.
With the loader bucket when you trip the bucket when it's fully raised you're piling snow on top of the pile and can pile it up higher than when you try to push snow up the side of a pile with a blade.
The weekend SON & I cleaned the front yard, with similar weight, chains on both, same size blade/bucket we found there really wasn't a whole lot of difference in what they could move or push. And the M has a roughly 20 HP advantage over the Super H, around 50 PTO HP verses 30. Pushing snow is all about weight and and getting traction on snow, ice, and slick ground. You take the chains off either tractor and neither one of them will push much at all.
ALSO - On your cheap HF drill bit situation, The cheapest bit's I'll buy anymore are the Irwin/Hanson bits at F&F. I bought a set of Milwaukee bits several years ago and you're right, they cut great. I grab them first anymore.
