I'm making pretty good progress on my 1572 project, as always, I'm looking at the little details. Does anyone know of a source to replace the polymer sleeves on an 82 series lift handle? As you can see mine have seen better days..

720-3004 is NLA so looking for options..

I bought them a couple of years ago, but they are now NLA. You might run across NOS, or a good used one, but the most sure thing is the plasti-dip.

Thanks for the suggestions. Has anyone tried to remove one from a parts machine? I was going to try compressed air on a worker 782 I have.

Great suggestion, your spurred some thoughts! I found some bar-stock end caps on eBay and ordered them yesterday. I will report back once they arrive.

I like the idea of finding an equivalent. I am curious about the Plastic Dip. I've seen it in stores. To be used one tool handles and such. Does really work well? Does it give a thick coating?
