The small gear on my thrower was worn and had a lot of side to side movement. I made a new gear that is two teeth bigger and made it thicker. I machined the wear out of bracket and put thin hardened thrust washers in between the sprocket and the bracket. Also a new chain. I dont notice it turning faster, but math says it is. lol.
