Ya’ll might have already seen this: Paquette’s museum in Florida has closed and there will be/has been an auction.Just a side question....
What made a Super a Super... I.E. Super H or Super M. I understand the designations, D, TA, but never understood Super......
Watched some other related video, I need to get to Paquette's in Florida.........
There were a bunch of seemingly small but significant changes to make a super. In addition not all the changes came out at once so some guys talk about stage 1 , 2 and 3 supers I believe. I'm far from an expert on m's or h's so forgive any errors. In late 53 the h and m got disc style brakes as well as slightly bigger sleeves and pistons as well as the live hyd pump mounted to the engine instead of the belly pump that quit pumping when the clutch was pushed in. Also I believe the gear ratios were changes a bit to make them more useful in the field. Ex 2nd or 3rd was changed to be a bit faster I believe? The super m ta was newer than a straight super coming out sometime in 54?Just a side question....
