Here's where the pump is mounted, driven from a five inch pulley machined out and sandwiched in between the crankshaft and driveshaft hub. Pump pulley is 3.5" Terry

Kendell, In the second picture the wheel weights weren't installed(70lbs. each), rear tires are also liquid filled and the 2.5 gallon hydraulic tank is mounted in the rear. The uprights are positioned just in front of the footpads so the forces don't seem lift the rear of the tractor easily...

Hey Jeff R, Thanks. My tractor started as a 109. I've added a replacement 12 horse engine. I'm a forklift mechanic so I had access to most of the hydraulic system from scrapped equipment. The pump, power steering valve and column, and the hydraulic tank were all old forklift parts. I...

Hey all, Have not posted in a long time, but lurk almost daily. Just wanted to show off my finally completed home built loader. Took almost a year to complete. Well worth the time though. It's a blast to use.

Engine surging, dies at low throttle

Bill, Does the surge go away if you partially choke the engine? If so, It's too lean. Check for loose carburetor mounting bolts. Also, make sure you run the green prefilter on the air filter and it is lightly oiled. These engines are factory set to run as lean as possible. The lightly oiled...

    New GT 3200

I just purchased a 3200 with the 50" deck. It has great power and is very comfortable to operate. The hydraulic lift handles are a little low for my liking though. Terry

Kraig, Guess I shoulda' checked the link before I chimed in. That shows everything Eric should need.

Eric, It sounds like your dealing with the later pto with the large disk used to brake the pto after disengagement, not the early version Kraig posted the picture of. If the three metal fingers that are on the front are not staying rotating with the pulley when the pto is engaged, there is...

Can the hydro lines be switched from the factory 3/8" id. to 1/4" id without hurting the pump. With the valve I'm attempting to use the original steel hard lines come up a little short. I'm wanting to go with the 1/4 soft lines so they will be easier to route, and cheaper. Thanks again for all...

I'm attempting to add dual hydraulic controls to my 129. It currently has the single setup but I got my hands on a dual control valve. Does anyone have pictures of a wide frame with the factory dual setup? Thanks.

Kraig, Dennis, I think your right about the .020 being to thin. If I had read Richards post more closely I would have noticed he did say the thickness was 1/16 he used. I wish I would have measured the stock gasket before I installed it. By then frustration had set in and I just wanted to get...
