Why is there no primer under the original cub paint. was the paint that good that no primer was needed
 
Judging by the 100 and 149 I stripped the paint off of, it appears as though IH may have used a yellow tinted primer.
 
Lead-based paint I'll be using a mask from now on. I will have to wait for cooler days. Or possibly go to a chemical-based stripper.
