Marty, If you want to save money and shoot quality paint then HVLP guns are the way to go..
I wondered where you were on a paint topic...Trying to apply paint on top of old paint is also a waste of time. Strip it. Prime it. Paint it. Or do nothing.
Looks awsome!I used 20 cans of rust-oleum on my Dad's 147.
11/2qts. Almond on trailer, applied with a 4" roller, 3 coats. Looks good for me.
I'll just have to stick with shaker cans.True, but have no spray gun and a location for spraying.
Oh that is bright!I use Rustoleum rattle cans all the time, Not looking for a "museum resto" just a fresh clean look, not a "rust bucket runner" Only regret on my cub 108 is i used "bright sunshine yellow" so now it atracts BEES.....LOL
Marty, great job. Behind the s/g what model lift is that? It is a lift, right?Been working for me for several years now. Wanted a new gun, but my old one is still kickin' after painting five tractors!
Just wanted to pass on the info to the other guys.
I am pleased with it:
