LTX1046 VT Hydrostatic transmission problem

My ltx1046 is 2 seasons old and running good. Just the other day, I noticed that i hear a whining coming from the hydrostatic trans. sounds like coming from the pulley/fan on top where the belt is attached. Never heard this loud before. The tractor is moving /running fine, and i checked everything underneath and looks good an straight. any suggestions, dont want to damage anything. The drive belt seems to have some excess play in it.. that normal?

Mike - Whining is normal for hydros.

Francis - I need the Serial number.

oh and both of you need to be in the MTD section NOT in the <FONT COLOR="ff0000">I</FONT><FONT COLOR="000000">H</FONT> section.

Francis - I just looked through 40 pages of the pdf file of your mower and I found <u>ZERO</u> fuses !

Frances/Ken, is that a B+S single cylinder? Does this question refer to charging problems?
