Frustrated and need help

i have a 1204 cub cadet and have been looking for a week for a place to find specs on this unit does anyone have any hints to guide me down the right path

kraig thank you so much ive been searching forever it seems and couldnt find anything
any chance you know the prodution years i think i have it narrowed to '87 and '88 according to what i found on the net

Donnie, I believe it was built in 1987 and 1988. The brochure pages I posted are I believe from a 1987 brochure. I have a 1989 brochure which has the 1210 and 1211 listed but not the 1204.

So it looks like the 1204 was <font color="ff0000">C<font color="0000ff">C</font>C's</font> answer to an <FONT COLOR="ff0000">I</FONT><FONT COLOR="000000">H</FONT> 582 Special??

The 1604 would have been. I think the 1204 is a slightly improved (with the addition of the Kohler engine) 482.
