Hi Guys.I was working on my 126 today putting on the driveshaft and noticed some noise inside the 301 kohler when I would turn it over slow.Sounds to me like cam gear or maybe governor?.No noise heard when running though. Thanks -Keith.

Todd H.

The little hole in the breather plate goes on the bottom, so any trapped oil will drain back into the engine block.

The last set screw from the PTO on my #1 125 is OUT and the PTO is off!

However as I suspected, the crank shaft key slot was damaged by the loose S/G pulley.

Oh well it was just going to be a backup engine, time for a crank and a rebuild. Hmmm, I could use another Killer Kohler K301... Anyway now I can remove the K301 and clean up the frame for the Killer Kohler I have waiting.

Jerry and Terry, Thanks

I did look in the manual that I downloaded and the breather assy stopped at K-241. I will download the one Terry posted a link to. Looks like some more readin ahead.

Hey Kentucky,

You can send that unedited image of Jessica Biel my way!

Todd H - I'm guessing you don't need a new camera - just take the pics from a little farther back if your camera doesn't have a Macro setting for close-ups. Personally, I didn't have any trouble with your blurry cub pics, but I almost went blind trying to focus on Ken's blurry pic!
