was just thinking about a 982 axel under the 782 i beleave the 982 axel is wider but comparing the two part prints there waybe not a direct bolt on was thinking i could just use the front axel, spindles and drag links to make it work under the 782 any one done this? any comits?
 
Yes, I've done it. You may have to cut off the axle tabs if the crossmember has them. The tabs allow you to adjust out the slop in the axle.
