2206 shut it off... won't start now

enjoying my annual festival of the leaves...backed the tractor/vacuum into the natural area and shut it off... emptied the vacuum bag and back on the tractor... no start, no click, no nothin...

battery is strong... I can jump the starter solonoid and the engine will start but will not continue to run. so it's got to be electrical, right ??

found a 25 amp fuse blown that is in the headlight circuit... replaced it but it blew again...

also found a potted relay tied to the wiring harness under the 'dash' it's a cm1-12v... haven't got a clue what that does...

any suggestions, wiring diagrams, cwags or help would be appreciated..

more info...

when you turn on the switch... normally you'll see the battery indicator and the hour meter is running... I get NO indication of power on the 'dash'... headlights don't work... pto doesn't click... nuthin ! although, again I can jump the starter and it fires right up... so the battery is hot something ain't connecting, right ???

If you're blowing a fuse, you have a short somewhere, and that's probably most of the problem. Hopefully someone has a wiring diagram for you.
