1541 and a model 450 snow blower.

Well I wanted to get a blower for my 1541 (S/N 805,xxx) so I looked at cub parts and it listed a model 450 as the proper blower for my machine. I had recently found one for sale so I bought it. I haven't tried to mount it yet but I just read a couple of threads in the archives that lead me to believe that maybe the 450 is not what I need. Any one have any insight for me? Thanks in advance
