David S. and Kraig: thanks for the info on my Sims cab. I put it together tonight and found the assembly instructions in the box the windshield wiper motor was in. It says it is made for a 154, which is apparently a Lowboy. I set it on my 124 just to see how it would look, and can't bring myself...

Sims cab for an International 154 Lowboy. Manufacture date is 1976. Missing canvas sides and back. Otherwise, complete and in good condition, including an electric windshield wiper that appears never to have been installed. Can't bring myself to modify it to fit my Cub Cadet. Pick up only near...

David S. and Kraig: Here are the pieces I have to the Sims cab. Looks like I'm short quite a few pieces. I can't even figure out what the two long supports are for. Looks like I'd have quite a bit of time fabing up the remaining parts.

Kraig-it looks like the second one, the one on the Quietline. Do you have any pictures from other angles? It looks like I'm missing the support posts that go down to the footrests, but am curious how it mounts in the rear. Thanks for the helpful pics.

Got my hands on an old Sims cab today (1970's), but it's in pieces. Would like to try to put it on my 124. Anyone have any idea how to assemble it onto the tractor? It has a roof, windshield, two upright support posts and a plate that goes over the hood under the windshield. Has snaps on the...

Jeff B-do you think the broken teaser spring is what is causing the problem with my clutch? I'm just at a loss because it comes and goes. I think the teaser spring is broken and gets jammed up so the plates won't separate on the clutch. Thanks for your response, it's much appreciated.

clutch question: I have a Cub Cadet model 73. Sometimes the clutch engages, sometimes not. The one thing I can see without pulling the entire engine is that the teaser spring is broken into 2 pieces. Does anyone know if that would be the cause? I'd like to have some idea what I'm getting into...

Harry and Kraig-is the "sub-frame" the part of the blade that runs under the tractor from the mule drive to the frame cross member? Do either of you have a photo of a QA mule drive with the blade attached (same view Kraig posted of the model 70) How the heck do I get the front of the blade off...

Kraig-Can I just buy a mule drive for a model 70 and attach it to my 73, then hook the blade up?

Here are some photos of the front frame of my 73 and the snow plow from my Cub 70 I want to use on it this winter. How does the plow attach with the quick attach mule drive?

I have a Cub 73. Just realized the snow plow I have is from a Cub 70 I had years ago. Doesn't look like it will attach properly to the 73 because of the quick hook-up arrangement. Any insight appreciated.

Kraig M: Haven't had time to work on the 71 since I posted last. I had the same manual you posted when I put it together. I'm starting to wonder if I may have pushed the bearing back on the crank when I installed the clutch, and now the whole assembly is too far back and there is too much...

Problem installing front mechanical PTO. Just installed an NOS front mechanical PTO on my 71. When I pull the PTO lever back to disengage it, it won't disengage, even with the turnbuckle adjusted as short as possible. It sure threw some pretty sparks!! It looks to me like there is too much...
