Parts For Sale Quietline K341 Engine

I picked up a K341 ten years ago, rebuilt it and replaced the engine in my 1650 with it. This is the original 1650 engine that was unknown on hours, and pulled proactively before the connecting rod snapped and potentially damaged things. Took it apart with the intent on rebuilding it, but...

Parts For Sale Quietline K341 Engine

I have a K341 Quietline Engine that is completely disassembled. Standard Bore, Standard Crank, engine is complete and was running fine when dis-assembled. Would like to see this go to a forum member who needs it for a quietline rebuild, and offering it here prior to advertising in other...

David S.....The current pan that leaks on my quietline is a deep sump cast iron pan that leaks!

An update on my quietline oil plug leaking issue from Sunday August 11th. I tried the tapered pipe plug per Digger and Matt's suggestion and to be honest it now leaks worse!!! I'm thinking I have a hairline crack in the pan along the threads? There is no reason a standard aluminum...

Matt and Digger, Thanks for the reply. I will try a tapered pipe plug next. I got it dripping into a container parked up in the shed. Going to be very clean internally as this will be the third oil change in about three weeks....grrrr!!! at least oil is cheap! Isn't this where I...

Matt G. So if I understand you correctly, the deep sump cast iron pan (same as the aluminum deep sump version) is threaded differently? The drain plugs I'm using all appear to have a slight taper to them. Regardless is not the sealing being done by the flanged portion of drain plug with...

OK no laughing at this question, but has anybody ever had to fight oil leaks on a quietline with the drain plug? I got at least 4 different OE drainplugs and a deep sump cast iron oil pan on my 1450 and had the occasional drip drip drip. So I go up to NAPA and get me a new fiber washer and...

Hi Guys, I know all about the great Hytran debate, and have been using Hytran Ultra in all my cubs. A recent project involved transplanting a Mag 18 and dual hydraulics from a 1712 into a 1811 making it a 1812, and it also has a rear lift now. (Yes I know I should have taken some photos...

Scott Thanks for the info. His drive is likely 20-25 degree slope for 300 yards. The finish is not that coarse, hard to tell as was only over there once. Driveway splits in two 3/4 of the way up with asphalt leading to his 30'x40' workshop. Previous owner resealed the asphalt prior to...

I understand answers will depend upon lots of things, but lets assume we have two link tire chains on standard turf tires, tires are filled with fluid, and a set of 40lb per side wheel weights.

So things appear slow on the forum, let me ask this question.....how much of an incline can a 1x50 or x82 series push snow with a 42" blade on concrete? My friend bought a house out in the country and his driveway is pretty steep. Going down is not an issue, but coming up may be. I will ask...

Digger, I'm going to Shelby today to visit a few of my favorite stores. One is called Sportsman's Den, the other and cub related is called Glenn's surplus. It is cub related because if you dig thru the surplus sometimes you run into Cub Cadet Parts. If you send me that 82 series dash I...

Charlie should you consider putting some POR15 on the rusty spots so the snow rolls off the blade, or will you be using BRS?

Need to re-power my 982 (dropped a cylinder on the Onan)

Steve, do the KT carb rebuild kits use the standard single cylinder Kohler rebuild kits that cost around 12 dollars? I priced one rebuild kit for a mag engine and the cub dealer told me 54dollars!!!! I would probably buy one of those knockoff china carbs on the interweb before rebuilding...
