It has a new regulator, the voltage is fine. It could be vibration causing it to go.

I have a 1450 Cub and this past summer I have gone through two ignition coils. The primary winding on them opens. I was using automotive coils with a resistor in series. Any ideas what may be causing this? Thanks in advance!

Thanks all for the information on the steering box, now I have another one, brakes on a 1450. Mine don't have wheel brakes, it has a lever on the side of the axle housing that does something inside. Are these type brakes adjustable?

Can anyone give me a tip on how to get rid of the play in a Cub 1450 steering wheel? I have about a third of a turn play in it and was wondering if there is an adjustment I can make on the steering gear box to get rid of this play. The tie rod ends are tight. Thanks!

Everything checks out, 27 volts AC coming from the engine alternater, good continuity through the alternator winding, just not getting anything above battery voltage from the B+ to ground. Now the big question, whar is the part number for this solid state regulater and where do I find one? Thanks!

I'm getting around 26 volts AC from the two outer terminals, it is grounded well. All I'm getting from the B+ terminal is battery voltage, around 12.5 volts. Anyone got a part number for that voltage regulator? Thanks!
