    Z Force series?

Anyone out there running a Z Force zero turn? Looking at them, but hoping to hear from experienced users before plunking down that kind of dough.

Thanks. Clutch bracket is under the top rail of the frame. Keep 'em coming. There is an answer to this.

This may be heresy, or not allowed, but I'll ask anyway. I've been using this 128 as my only mower (other than a push mower) for the last 15+ years. We moved from a one acre property to two. If I was to put the 128 into reserve duty, what would be a good unit to buy? Last new mower I...

The new plate was the same as the old. Let me take a hard look at things when I pull it apart. Be a week or so, as I am out of town a good chunk of this week. What could get misaligned here? The engine is hard mounted as is the rear. Obviously something is wrong, but what am I looking for?

Here is a pic of the broken plate that I replaced 3 weeks ago. The same part failed again yesterday. One of the roll pin lugs came apart from the plate. The welds are tiny. The one in the pic was from a Cub dealer and was installed in 2013.

My 128 clutch driven plate just failed after less than 6 hours of use. The previous one was about 4 years old. Thoughts as to what when wrong here? I thought the welds looked skimpy but installed it anyway. Interested in hearing others thoughts here. I have had the tractor for over...

Paul Funk nailed my problem. Couple passes on the points with a bit of 400 paper and she is running fine. Thanks, I forget how many times you guys have set me straight, but its a lot and always appreciated. Zimm

128- no spark No question this will be basic stuff for most of you. I thought it would be for me. Jumped on the 128 and it wouldn't start. Quickly found no spark. There was power to both sides of the coil. I checked the points, which appeared to be closed up. Fine, haven't changed the...

I finally got the lights working on my 128. Added the wiring, switch, fuse and put new light bulbs in. They are bright, but aimed straight out. They light up the neighbors yard as much as mine. Any good ideas how to aim them better? I checked the archives but didn't find anything...

Can anyone tell me how to find the front motor mounting bolts on a 128? I have been having trouble disengaging my front PTO. Some times it does, sometimes it doesn't. I noticed that the motor rocks backwards when it won't disengage. No matter what other problems I have, the motor...

50" Deck spindle question. I got two new spindles for my deck to replace the outers. The center was done three years ago. One of them installed fine, but the other is very tight. Any thoughts as to what I did wrong? Please let me know. Zimm

Thanks guys. Lots of good ideas to weight down the back of the tractor. Time to find some steel and fire up the welder. Zimm

OK, serious comment/question about wheel weights. I haven't been able to find any locally (Eastern Shore of Maryland) and expect that the shipping cost would be too much to buy a set out of town. I notice tractors using both wheel weights and suitcase weights on a rear mounted rack. Could I...

That weight rack looks like just what I need. What size bar did you make it out of? What do the weights weigh? I am getting ready to set up my snowblower and need some weight in the back as well as chains. Thanks Zimm

When I needed to pull my PTO off a couple of years ago, the folks here gave me good advice. Instead of whipping a chain around, I was able to use a short length of chain in the pulley groove, bolted tight, and three finger pullers on a 5 pound slide hammer worked into the mix. Came right...
