    Thanks Dennis i really appreciate the info sure it will help a lot .just recently purchased the 982 seems to a great little tractor couldn't pass up the deal. Going to try to do some ground breaking with it.just purchased a I h blade for it ,wish it had power steering but I can live without it.

    Does anybody know what it takes to rebuild a hydralic pump on a 982. Is there a rebuild kit for that particular model.It wants to surge when ur using the lift and have to go to reverse when you want to stop.,tractor has only bout 600 hours on it so i woudnt think it would be worn out change hyd...

    HI guys just recently purchased a 982 cub and in the middle of restoring it. everything works perfect just needs a little tlc. Except for the hour meter,showing about 540 hours. Any Ideas
