Does the brake assembly ride in an oil bath along with the differential gears?

Reason I ask is I noticed an oil puddle below the case directly below the brake.

This was after I cleaned a bunch of grime off the tractor yesterday.

No it doesn't, you've got a bad seal letting rear end oil out to it.

Here's the Service manual that shows where it is and how to fix it.
