I just picked up a reasonably clean 782D (1900 hrs) that I like to refurb, but before I get in way, way over my head on anything, I need to put on new fan & alternator belts.
Since I'm replacing the belts, I've read about reduction gear starter upgrades (my solenoid sticks at times), but can't find a mfg or part number in any threads on this site. Advice??
I also want to replace the alternator with a new permanent magnet one, but can't find a model/part # either. Advice??
Should I put on a bigger alternator and a larger capacity battery??
