I finally had time to clean up the mower deck today and----
I was wondering how many of you guys take the belt off of your deck for the winter?

I do, that way it doesn't stretch any more or have a semi permanent "s" curve in it next spring. It also gives me a chance to look at the condition of the belt.

Jim:

Yup, I do. I usually hang it up on a peg for winter. And like you said, this way it doesn't have curve in it come next spring.
