hi guys i have a 1967 cub cadet 123 iam having problems with the speed control staying in neutral as in not always finding neutral when the lever is in neutral the transmision still wants to move i have tried adjust the neutral adjustment i have some play in the speed control lever what should i check

I would check for a worn out trunion slot. The trunion is the control arm on the side of the hydrostatic pump.
