2017 Winter:

11/1/16 - Put snow thrower, chains, and cab on 782...park in shed.

Move several times to get various things out of shed.

4/1/17 - Take snow thrower, chains, and cab off of 782 so it can be put to use.

(Did the same thing with SGT and Haban blade, minus the cab....did use it once, but didn't "have" to)

Unreal for central IL!!!!!

OK Fellas, please bear with me... I am going to post several pictures for Ethan. This is of my 1977 Twin Stick 1450. It is one of my workers, it's not perfect, it's dirty, and as far as I can tell, it's still in it's factory paint. I just hope these help Ethan, or anyone else with a 1450. These are mainly of the hood / underhood srea. Anyone need anything else, please just ask.

Scott-thank you for the pics there very helpful.they confirm that the rougher twin stick in the two first pictures that harry posted for me the tin seems to be all there with the exception of the side panels.im going to pull the tin off the duel stick and rehab them and put them on Iron Patriot to get it to "running "status and worker level tractor. The duel stick I'll do a frame up resto on it later down the road.

Ethan,

I am glad I could help. I hope the full resolution pictures I E-Mailed you came through and can help out. You should be able to zoom in on them fairly well. If you need any pictures of the rest of the tractor, let me know. Or if anyone needs 1650 pictures, that is the one in the background in these pictures. It is a fairly low hour machine and is almost completely factory.

Steve,

I have the same issue as you with the tractors being ready for winter. The 1650 has only been out of the garage once, and that is when I rearranged the garage, and put it where you can see it in the picture... The 1450, this only the 4th time its been outside. Once was during the rearrange, for these pictures, and the other 2 times were to push disabled vehicles around or into the garage.... Going to change back over to summer in the next few days... dig out the decks and tiller.... After taking these pictures, I think next time they are on the trailer, I need to stop by the local self-serv car wash and give them a bath........

Scott,

...I just finished mowing with the 782....geeeez

Ok fellas rebuilt update started taking stuff apart in Ernest today turned Iron Patriot over by hand seem like the motor turned real easy...after some rudimentary compression tests, found that there is no compression I pulled the head off to investigate further and found a broken connecting rod in the motor after work tomorrow I'm going to test the other motor to see its status if all works out I'll have to do a motor swap and rebuilt the broken motor at s later date

Hiya alls! Been 6 long years since I was last here. Thanks for the great minds and advice here, my (then) cub cadet 125 cut many lawns and plowed a few hundred feet of snow around the farmhouse I was living in. We did finally move, I passed on the 125, and I got busy doing other things.

So fast forward to last week and I've found a completely disassembled Cadet 125 combined with 123 parts and brought the whole mess home. To be honest, I don't remember how these go together. I don't know what I have, whether it runs, what it'll take to complete the project or what it'll even look like. Sounds like a perfect summer project! The good is there are ALOT of new parts in bins including wire harness, PTO, light kit, rectifier, engine parts. Possible engine was rebuilt 10 years ago. The bad is there are ALOT of used parts in bins including a bin of bolts-washers-connectors, a bin of metal tins, a bin of electrics, 2 sets of front ends, tie rods, undercarriage frames, etc... and no seat in the entire lot!

So here I am yet again. I'll be sure to ask alot of questions, buy and sell spare parts, and be an active member again. Hope I remember a few of the great folks here :) danB

Dan B-welcome back this is a great group of the most helpful guys I'm glad to be part of this

Ethan - glad I could help by posting the pics. I also agree that the first thing you need to figure out is if you'll be able to get one engine running. I don't think I'd bother pulling it unless you have an engine stand to mount it to. Hope you have the coil and electrical connections that go on the right side of the engine not shown in your pics.
