i,m new to this forum. i have a 2185 cub cadet with two problems first it will not start unless you jump the starter solenoid the brakes are set and i think the seat switch is ok. second the cruise will dot stay where i set it. any help would be great. thanks
Glen R: First, I would replace the PTO switch. This is the first thing that goes bad and causes your problem. Your ignition switch could also be the culprit but less likely than the PTO. You can spray some electronic cleaner into the PTO switch while flipping the switch on and off numerous times and sometimes that will clean up the corroded contacts and get you back in action.
