Hey everybody. I'm looking at buying a Cub Cadet 1415 lawn mower that the owner says won't shift gears properly. The owner has diagnosed the problem as bad keys in the transaxle (part #23). But, I think the problem might be with loose parts in the shift linkage somewhere. I know from experience that if the linkage is loose or has play in it the transaxle will act the same way. Has anyone else ever heard of or encountered this problem before ?
