IH Cadet 60 rear engine rider. I would consider this is nice shape considering. I am pretty sure it was the only one in the cub yellow. It is all original and does not appear to have ever been painted or modified. All the decals are there and the deck is very solid and feels smooth. It is...

I am trying to locate a hood and front grill assembly for the 1959-1962 Sears/David Bradley 4 wheel garden tractor. I will pay a more than fair price for good restoreable parts. If anyone knows where I could locate the early Briggs 5.75 Hp horizontal engine these came with, I would also be...

I have been ofline for a day or so. I have got a few emails and responses for the Quietline fenders. If anybody has some pictures and price, shoot me an email at timwar1 at gmail dot com. thanks

Thanks for the good advice. I am dealing with a tractor that had been previously modified and just wanted to be sure the driveline was proper, I had only dealt with hydro's before.

So if you set the 14 in place of the 12, the line up for the gear driven drive shaft should be identical?

Question: When you find a Cub wideframe with the single cylinder Kohlers, is there modifications to location when you go from the K-301 to the K-341 or even bigger. I guess I am basically wondering if the 12hp and 14hp blocks are the same in regards to base and output shaft location or is one...

Would anyone have a pair of Quietline side panels and maybe the lower grill screen? I am not sure of the hardware or bolts they mount with but if they are anything special, I could use those also.

Thanks for the feedback Matt, I do agree with the sandblasting. It appears they did a great job on painting and had disassembled the tractor and no signs of painting over rust. I just don't see why anyone would change a tag and then blast it. Maybe they used a 782 frame for some odd reason...

How could I upload a decent size pic. It seem to say I had a 100 kb limit. I am as dumb about this as I am this darn tractor

It makes no sense to me, I see no signs of red paint or anybody messing with the plates or rivets. No matter what it is, it runs great and I guess I dumbed into some hybrid 14hp gear driven wide frame. I can't seem to get the pics small enough to upload but if anyone would be so gracious as...

Thanks for the info Matt. I just sold my 982 and I had a 782 parts tractor that went with it. I knew most of the differences in the two series. This thing has been painted and restored a bit. It definitely has the ISO mounts and is not hard mounted. The plate had been painted over and I...

I hope I am not thread jumping again, but I have come up with a serial number and tractor that just is not adding up to me. The Serial number is legible and it reads "2050594U667075". It is on what I believe to be a Quietline. It is gear driven and has a nice 14hp Kohler that looks to be...

I hope I am posting a question in the right area and format, it has been a while since I have been on. I recently picked up a nice Quiteline series gear driven tractor. Things are a bit odd with it. It came supposedly from a family who has owned it since new, but who knows. It is a 14hp...
