I have a rear weight bracket that is for a John Deere 300 series GT. I took it off of a 318 that I refurbished. It is in excellent condition and holds six suitcase weights (not included). All hardware for mounting is there. I do not have pics but can get them if interested. You can also look it...

Kraig, whatever happened to the Original from the top of the page? Does someone on the forum still own it? Just curious as to the history on it. Speaking of "pickers" my Saturday yard sale adventures did not find me a winter project. Tim P.

Got the rear axle out of the 104 and semi washed off. Wifey isn't that crazy about it being parked on the front lawn. Need to fix the shift lever and the brake is froze up. Anyone have any tips on the brake froze up issue? I had a wicked hard time getting this photo to upload for some reason it...

Don T. Looks like you are doing a good job. I wonder if that is the same stuff that they call CR6 down here? It is recycled concrete mashings and packs real well.

I got the clutch assembly removed from the 104 this afternoon. Thanks to all who helped me with it. I guess sometimes instead of rushing you just need to step back and take a break. John B. good luck on your 123 today. I have had a 1250 eyeballed for 2yrs. Poor thing is sitting outside just...

Ken, you are not too late. I pulled the engine forward after unbolting it. The driveshaft is separate from the flywheel and completely free form the engine. The driveshaft is pretty rusty and I am having a hard time figuring out how it comes off the creeper gear housing. I am assuming that it...

Spending some quality time with my son tearing down my "history unknown" 104. I am amazed at how these things are designed and engineered. I have the engine moved forward and am trying to figure out the driveshaft removal. Rust everywhere and I am trying to avoid hammering on things to see if...

    1996 Chevy K1500 Ext Cab

I am in agreement with Kraig. I would seriously keep looking around. I think you could possibly be in for a big headache. I can say that if I was in the market for a truck I would walk away from this one.

Dennis, thanks for the heads up on the shifter. I have things here that keep me going full time and do not have the time to have seen that it was discussed earlier. I was merely asking a question which was "on topic". I apologize if it has been discussed previously. From this point on I will be...

In taking apart my 104 I have noticed that the shift lever will turn 360 degrees freely. It will go into the gears but I am looking for a heads up on why or should it do that. This is a project that I have taken on and am just tearing down to see what I am dealing with. Any help would be...

I am tearing down my 104 to see what the deal is with it after buying it. I noticed the gear shifter turns completely around. Any ideas on this? I have no idea what the history is on this machine what so ever. Tim P.
