Greetings, whilst running the 782 I noticed a wobble in the right rear wheel(standing at the front) took the wheel off and the disc is wobbling back and forth. there is no play in the end of the axle where it exits the housing. is it possible that the disc assembly is warped or is the axle...

Thanks for the input on the 147, I haven't really seen to many of them out there. Went to the tractor show in freeport illinois, and was a ittle disappointed to see only about 7 cubs, but at least they were lined up with the bigger stuff.first time we took the whole gang out all four of them to...

I got an on topic thought, I got to dig some holes with my 147 today, works gteat, the tractor itself is really tight because it really has never been driven for long periods of time, and I think kohler got it right with the engine because it runs runs smoother and better than anything else I've...

this is a little off topic, but i think worth mentioning. I found a farmall f12 for sale that was painted probably twenty years ago and has been a display in a liquor store up untill ten years ago and it has been kept inside ever since. it is on steel wheels, but hasn't run in a decade. it would...

Thanks Kraig, the clutch plates must be sticking or something. I have to just about step on the brake to get the shaft to stop turning. The tractor sits most of the time and rarely gets used. Can I tap the plates a little to get the to loosten up or will that hurt them, any easy fixes?

sorry to post twice in a row, but I'm confused about something in the orig. I have to push the pedal all the way down to get the drive shaft to totally stop spinning, but if I push it half-way I can shift gears without grinding. I guess I don't really understand how the clutch/driveshaft...

I wrote danuser for some literature on my digger and Mr. Danuser e-mailed me back the next day telling me he would send me a copy of he only piece they had left and that blades were stil available. Thought it was pretty neat that after 94 years in business a family member took the time to write...

I've noticed some 782 have internal brakes(inside rearend housing) and some have the disc brakes, is that a correct observation and if so does anybody know why? what is better?

Michael, at the risk of getting poofed,I think it probably is a good deal for what is an almost new tractor. Unfortunately it's not in the plans right now. hope someone in the "group" gets it. the sweepers are great I've got a parker and it works almost to well. Out where I lived when I first...

Left the new house today and peered into the neighbors garage, and what did I see a really really nice 1x9 or such sitting all lonely with no deck on it. He uses the push mower all the time so Im thinking of a scouting mission.the only thing is my wife saw the wheels turning and would like to...

Ken, I just replaced the seat on my 782 with a new cub highback one and your right they are about as much as a racing bucket. Have you ever heard of anyone having a seat recovered or is there any of the sponsors that do it?

I've got an orig that I did a quicky on because it was really nice to start with, but now it doesn't look very good next to the one that is done correctly so I was thinking of forgetting about the paint and having all the major parts powder coated. they can match colors and with what centari...
