Due to lack of interest, I've dropped the price to free. Free free free. I'd love to get this into the right hands!

    Tiller for sale

Incomplete tiller assembly for sale - pick-up only in south suburbs of Chicago. I don't have everything - just what you see in the photos. $100.

Harry - Rearview mirror is really an old clamp-on dealy that I had laying around. I used it for when I'd pull a trailer in the 4th of July parades with about a dozen kids in the back. It helped me keep an eye on 'em. It's one of those convex mirrors so everything is closer than it appears. ;-)

Harry - I did the restoration in 2001, I believe. I disassembled it somewhat but not completely. Degreased, blew out, scrubbed nooks and crannies before paint. Then I just masked everything carefully. Kept most of the old decals too. Keeping it in the garage is the biggest thing in my opinion...

Ron, Harry, and Wayne - yep, have to be careful with this unit. Gloves and eye protection for sure. Common sense goes a long way. I found small limbs and dry leaves help clear the screen although I did remove it once to clean it (with the unit off, of course!). 149 was restored almost 20...

Going back a few weeks, I mounted the 59M on my 149 to wrap up the yard work for the season. I love this thing. Made quick work of the several huge piles of leaves I had accumulated. A sizable pile of branches too. The wet stuff will clog if you don't take it easy.

Looking for a tie rod for a wide frame 149. I managed to strip the threads on one end while removing the old ball joint assembly to replace with the nifty super duty ones that I had just received from CC Specialties. Anybody have one laying around cheap? Thanks! - Mike.

It may be over 40 years old, but man, this thing really does the job!

I know there's been talk of warming our Cubs in the dead of winter before tackling the drifts. Here's my rig. A small space heater, set on low, with a 12 gauge extension cord. I set it upright and let it blow on the rear end for about 20 minutes then do the same for the motor. It's parked in...

A few action shots with Clark, my (not as heavy as me) son, getting the seat time. He loves that thing!

Okay - so I just finished mowing the grass with my 149 and, as I always do nowadays, was leaning over to turn off the fuelcock before backing into my parking spot. (Backing into the spot usually burns the remaining fuel in the line and keeps fuel from occasionally pooling underneath while...

My Cub turns 40 next year. It would be cool to buy a new one today.

Charlie - At the rate we're going around here, I probably should have left the mower deck on. Sheesh. If we do get any snow, I'm keeping the leftovers!

Talk about procrastinating. I just put the blade on today - a week into the new year. Normally I put it on during Thanksgiving week. Where's all the stinkin' snow? I put the chains on after these photos. Much easier when it's 50 degrees outside!

I stumbled across this from the February blizzard and thought I'd share a nice cold cub on ice!

All - http://www.associatedair.com/mike/cubcadet/part1969/1969part_cat_index.htm - Link to the entire 1969 Parts and Accessories catalog that I had scanned some time ago. I wish we could turn back the clock and get some new stuff. That is if I had a narrow frame I guess!

I think that's the first time I've been archived. First line of offense. At least I had the cub closest to the door.
