    I know a vise works good, I've done 3 or 4 like that. Especially when the roll pins and driveshaft is rusted together and need cut off. Its not something that I need , more like a want. Probably will use the grade 8 hardware , even though its a little over kill . Its what I have sitting around...

    Dennis F ... I already picked up new axle seals for it . I swapped the axles out with another pair , had a few messed up threads. And changed the axle housings for a set that has bearings in them.

    What do you guys use to make your own gaskets? I plan on making up a complete set of gaskets for the trans/rearend , I did manage to save a old set last year without breaking them / ripping them apart.I know some people use the stuff in a tube,I dont wanna go that way,its messy and no matter how...
