    Well, she's up and running!! What a great feeling. Turns out the steering nuckles were reversed. Whoever was assembling the cub had them reversed and started welding on pieces to make it work.     I think the tie rod and drag link we're being replaced but they we're too short so they started welding on extensions. Im going to order all the visibility bad parts and put her back together. Then I can get a better idea of what's wrong

    Steering shaft. Not sure why it was removed. Either it's has a problem or it's easier to remove when doing front end work.

    I agree Rayf. Spray guns have come a long way since that gun was made. It's probably not hvlp. I buy the purple gun from hf for $20 and toss it after a few uses. Never had a problem.
