    Nate B, I first put jumper cables directly from the battery to the starter... still slow, then I took the deck belt off and that helped a little bit. I then I loosened up starter belt and that helped even more. It still doesn't spin it over like my Dixon, am I asking too much? Is this slow...

    Kraig M, I'll check that ground wire. Would bad things happen if I used jumper cables directly to the starter from the battery to by pass all the wiring to see if it turns over better?

    My 125s starter/generator turns over too slow, the battery is good and fully charged, must use starting fluid and have charger on "To Start" to get it started. If I loosen up the mowing deck to take pressure off the front pulley then it won't mow properly.

    The breather wasn't plugged but I cleaned it up anyway. Governor rod still leaking. I built another "Y" bracket but longer; that's ketching the oil; will need to put a container on the bottom of it to keep the 125 cleaner and save that expensive oil.

    Back to the governor leak. Can a new bushing and rod be installed Externally? If not is there some other quick-fix besides inclosing it so it drips in a controlled area?
