    Case garden tractors

Hey guys, My friend just got a Case from the neighbors for 50$. It was sitting in the woods for ten years or so, we had to pull it out of the woods with a dozer. It had a stuck valve and the starter had a nest in it along with corroded points etc. We have no info on this machine. What model...

I share a small shed with a friend. 2 welders, plasma cutter, oxy acc tanks etc. Thats my atv project with a 16hp Briggs v twin and my minibike project. And you didn't even get to see the back yard. To keep with the subject the...

My 100 had an optima yellow top for a while but the battery tray needed to be widened. It would start no matter what but at $180 it's a bit pricey. Although the yellow color was nice when you poped the hood. That battery went into a beater truck that we took off road. It fell out of the mount...

Thanks for your suggestions it was most likley >90% operator error. I guess tillers arn't meant for mining operations but more for aerating. I was just excited to play.

The cub god hates me! I got my 143" belt today and fired up the tiller for the first time. My anticipation quickly turned to anger and dissapointment when the tiller started to jump. I tried different gear and throttle combinations but it fought me like a cat in water. The dirt being cultivated...

Since the topic seems to be about motors I have a question. Do the K series 7-16 hp cranks measure out to the same height and they differ by being taller overall. And are the mechanical clutches mostly 1".

Donald Just do what I do steal the top off another can of paint. For next time hold the can upside down and spray it the paint will clear out of the tip and it should be clean for the next use. I would try soaking the clogged tips in solvent and try to blow them out with a compressor.

IMHO who cares about paint a real IH man knows what he's looking at. Ever heard "beauty is only skin deep" or "don't judge a book by it's cover". As far as a rattle can paint job goes why bother if you dont prep all the metal properly rust will come back quick. If your the type of person who is...

Charlie I'm guessing there are two joints and the clutch has been relocated. Food for thought, Thanks. I had this feeling you would be the first to answer. By the way this is my parts tractor I ain't cutting up my good one. I just need more power for the snowblower.

Ok so I got bored and decided to see what a 16hp v-twin looked like in my 70. After taking apart the front end and some rough measuring I reallized the briggs shaft is about 1/2 inch higher than stock. I was thinking the easiest way to solve this would be to angle the driveshaft up and tip the...

Dean since nobody smarter than me has answered yet I would say no. Cubs/IH items are usually white, yellow or red. Although I don't know what it looks like and it could have been painted at one point in it's life.

I picked up my roto tiller today and felt the need to share. Man what a drive clocked over 200 mi today. Anyway after figuring out I needed to remove the trailer hitch I got it put in place. Just had enough time to snap this photo before running out of light. And yes my other cub got jealous and...
