    1939 Farmall F20

I am very glad to see that did not go to scrap. Wish I would have had the space for it to restore it.

John Deere X700 193 hours (had 96 on it when I bought it) Ag tires 54 inch deck It's been my toy and has been treated well. There is a scratch on the hood where the barn door grazed it as it fell down in the July 11th 100 mph wind storm. $7100.00 Thanks for looking

Hello! I have a 1450 with a tiller mounted on it. The tiller is acutally set up for a 782, but I bought it attached to the 1450 and have used it that way for two years. Since this tractor has been owned by others on the site, I thought I'd post it here first. Marlin knows this tractor...

Spirit of 76, rough condition I have repainted all but the hood. The motor was honed and re-ringed, but never started due to the wiring that needs redone (I do spin it by hand every now and then to ensure it does not freeze up). $100.00 Will deliver within reason.

Sorry about the picture Charlie..... Marlin, that's the 1450! So far, it's been reliable. Prior to this winter, I did have to put on a new coil, and the voltage regulater from a parts tractor. Now she charges unless the PTO is on. It's amazing how so simple an electrical system can...

My play has been hampered with electrical problems. We are getting it done, but not having much fun at it....

Marlin, Thanks for older pictures of my 1450! I now am the owner of Mike C's 1450. It is now powering my snowblower for the winter while the 782 is restored as a 4H project. The hood has been repainted and the oil pan will need new threads this spring, but for now, she does the job...

I'd like to find a 50'' mower deck for my 782, or a mule drive and deck for my 1450. Closer to Ames, IA the better. Thanks!

    Gardening: equipment and planning

I have 6 acres to play with, so spreading out is easy. The beds won't start out raised, but will end up raised after a couple of years of manure and straw/leaves, etc. The reason I chose 4' is so I can drive my 782 down the path to mow. I could do 29" grass strips and use the push mower, but...

    Gardening: equipment and planning

I have a couple of questions as I plan my first large scale (3/4 acre) garden: 1. How much do you plant? I plan on storing most of what I grow for winter use to feed my family of 6. 2. I have a 1450 with a tiller and a 782 to play in the garden with. What equipment do you have, or have...

I live 8 miles south of Marlin. It took 4 hours to get the lanes done, but the cub won! I switched my blade to the snow blower. Now I need to dig out the 1450 and put the blade on it, so I am double armed and ready to go!

Michael, your 1450 is comfortably in it's new home. Thanks for selling me a very nice tractor. My 782 isn't so lonely in the barn anymore....

Lets see all those off topic tractors

Not sure how your Deere is geared, but ours at work is too fast for a tiller. Good tractor though.

I'd like to set up my Yellow 782 with a tiller. I would need everything, as I do not have an rear implement attachement parts. Thanks.

    282 and 382 cubs

Anything is worth collecting if you have an interest. My Spirit of 76 looks very lightweight and not worth it, but has been fun so far.
