    Mid-Atlantic Upcoming Shows

    Went to the Maryland Historical Steam Society show today, and Cub guys, you would have been proud! There were somewhere around 15-20 completely restored Cub Cadets, and I'm not sure how many others, but the only other garden tractors with nearly as many were those green ones. There were quite...

    Update on my 123 hydro problems. After initially thinking it was a problem with the check valves coming up, turns out it was a bad suction line that was leaking fluid. Started as a small leak that I hadn't noticed, then after fooling with it realized the line was broken off. Needless to say...

    Thanks Charlie. Other than those little buggers, tractor runs pretty good for sitting so long...about 6 years in a garage as best as the previous owner could guess. Some new tires, carb kit and a good degreasing and it's in pretty good shape.

    Hey guys. I bought a 123 Hydro that's been sitting for several years. After a carb clean up and carb kit, got the motor running pretty good, just still needs a little fine tuning, but not bad. The problem I'm having is with the hydrostatic transmission. The 2 check valves on top of the...

    Mid-Atlantic Upcoming Shows

    There are several shows coming up in the Maryland/Pennsylvania area. First up is the Rough and Tumble Annual Thresherman's Reunion. This show is being held in Kinzers, PA (Lancaster County) from August 15-18, 2007. I've never been to this show myself (work always seems to get in the...

    Ok, thanks. I wasn't sure, but thought I'd ask. I've got some parts laying around from a couple of narrow frames that I had, now I only have 2 Originals. Have a safe trip!!

    Your first gun

    Ok, here we go. My dad actually has my grandfather's antique double barrel shotgun. It's a 12 ga Stevens. I'm not really sure how old it is, but I know it's been in the family for a loooooong time. He also his my grandfather's semi-autmoatic .22. This rifle isn't quite as old as the...

    Question for you guys. Is the steering assembly for an Original interchangable with a 70/100? I know they look very similar, but I wasn't sure if they were the same!! Thanks for any help!

    Prices these days.

    Hey guys, I was just looking through and came across this conversation. How people think a $1,000-1,500 lawnmower will last is beyond me. I bought a Kubota 6 years ago for around $4,500 and haven't really had to do anything with it other than routine service!! Amazing how people just want...

    Thanks for the pics. If I'm looking at it correctly, there is no subframe like the narrow frames have. That's what I was trying to find out. Appreciate the help.

    If possible, could someone post a pic of a front snowblade for an Original. I know there are differences between the Original blade and the Narrow frame, but I wasn't sure what they were. Thanks.

    I hope someone can help me with this one. I have a 1963 Original with a K-161 Recoil start motor. The motor is basically complete, but is missing the recoil start. Does anyone know where I could find one or if anyone makes one that will work?}
