It has taken a little time but a friend of mine has disassembled my pump and found that the Cylinder block spring rear washer snap ring is broken. If you look at the pump schematic it is number 14. ( Part # IH-317776-R1 ) It shows to be no longer available. My question, Is there an...

    Neutral/Brake Adjustment

Is there an article or a post on the forum that describes in detail how to adjust the neutral and brake position on a hydro? I'm having issues with a 169. The drive indicator can be in the neutral position; but when I step on the brake it wants to move forward. I have watched a couple of...

Mr.Schwandt, SGT frame? Not sure what this is. How does the SGT frame compare to the frame on a 149? Is it only the length?

Mr.Schwandt, What type of work table do you have? I also have a 149 that I'm considering for a front loader project. I'll be watching your post. rw

The 169 is still sitting in the corner of the shop. Working on the 149 now. Will be fabricating a new wiring harness for this machine. I really appreciate the wiring diagrams posted on this forum. Thanks. Really makes things a lot easier.

Well I guess the 169 is going to sit in the corner of the shop for a while. I'm going to pull the engine and just see how bad the damage is and if it may be repairable. I still have my 149 cub project I need to finish up. Still undecided what to do.

No I don't have a picture of the damaged block. It was however one of the grenade gears as Mr. Shytle referred to them. Not sure which one as I have yet to pull the motor.
