So I'm not sure why the clutch was slipping, I had it set to .025 not .25... my bad.... but it looks like I boiled the magnet sealant really good though. I guess I'm gonna have to break down and buy a new one. UGH! No idea how I screwed that up.

Guys, just put a slightly used magnet on my 782 PTO clutch, it seems to work ok, however after a few minutes of mowing the clutch starts smoking really bad. I used a feeler gauge to set the spacing to .25 Where did I go wrong, when it cools off, what should I do to repair it?

    782 Ignition Switch

so my serial is 733555 and none of the wire diagrams I have seen have these colors. The orange wire also had a white wire with a pink stripe attached to it, but I traced that wire to the seat switch which had been unplugged so I didn't hook that wire back up. Left it dangling. I held that...

    782 Ignition Switch

ok, new switch, got all the wires cleaned up, she turns over very strongly, but I have no spark... it won't start, it turns over, the lights work, the peddle switch works, the pto switch works (meaning if I don't depress the brake peddle or if I have the PTO switch on it won't do anything) so...

    782 Ignition Switch

Do you think it was the switch went bad or a bad connection or what? what would cause the black wire to get hot and melt the plug like that? Would I have an issue somewhere else?

    782 Ignition Switch

So the black wire on my 782 melted out of the plug on the back of my switch, anyone know where a guy can get a pigtail?

So I got some inspiration from Timmy D's Diesel Quietline project ass seen in the Cadet Connection magazine and thought I should build a diesel QL, but why not lengthen the frame and build a super QL? So thats what I want to do. I've got the frame welded up but I need to make some critical...

Hey guys, I'm trying to build the super quietline tractor, and I was wondering, has anyone put power steering on a quietline? Does it take up more room under the dash or less room than the standard steering column?

So on my super quietline project I was thinking about the difference between the implement hookup on the supers... and thought of doing this... what do you think? This is just a mockup.

So this is a QL that I have added 6.5 inches to... I want to build a super quiet line... now I need to find a Kubota 640 diesel, a hydro with the output for the rear PTO, fine spline axles, the front axle for a super, and probably a lot more.

    Compressor issue

i broke a nipple off in my compressor, tried using a cold chisel to remove it and it wouldn't budge... any advice? Also, there is no budging the giant plug in this tank.

Ok, so I cut out those nasty cuts on my frame. I don't own a welder or know how to weld... but I am going to learn. I thought this was a cool looking solution. The unfortunate find though was all the rust under the paint... What do I do with this? Is this frame no good? Charlie was...

I was just thinking it would look better than the burnt cut metal that's there now. I want to put together something nice looking.

Guys, what are your thoughts on if I make a small cut on either side of the axel shaft like this?

Harry you raise some really good points, and to be honest I don't know. I don't have the muffler box installed yet, I had to make some modifications to it to allow for the stack to stick out the side, and the box I started with was a little beat up so it's at Mike's getting some cracks welded...
