I have a "frankenstein" 100 that I pieced together from a 126 and my donor 100 that I used to restore my main tractor, the 100. Does anyone have any experience using a modern "floating" mower deck on a narrow frame?

I would like to trade a restored Cub Cadet 100 with Fenders, 23x10.5 Ag tires, no lights or creeper for a wide frame hydro with excellent working mower deck. Email is in the profile for pictures.

Thanks guys. On another note, I've used the Valspar paint can in the Cub colors and the color is right on in my opinion

Happy last day of Winter. Time to drink the rest of your Sam Adams Winter Lager. I took the 100 out for a cruise yesterday and would really like a creeper. Is there a shorter driveshaft that is used with a creeper installed or will I be able to bolt the creeper right in? Thanks

Thank you for the picture and righted my wrong. I had it pointing the other way.

What is the correct orientation of the hood emblem on my model 100? Large diameter leading or trailing?

6 Schaefers in and I still have no options, the motor just won't fit in, hanging up on the output drive and the drive shaft. Any tricks?

Model 126 for sale but unfortunately, someone put some time into it and re-painted with Krylon Farm & Implement "orange" rather than Cub yellow. Still is very clean. Front plow (also wire wheeled and painted) and subframe w/ pulleys in good working order. CCC 75lb wheel weights (plastic...

I've taken out my K241 from my 100 to rebuild. Mission accomplished and I am fired up to put it back in when it seems to be too tight to fit back in. Is there a proper method for re-insertion? I said re-insertion! No really, does the drive shaft give to the rear? All joking aside, it took me...

I am looking for a wide frame Cub that I can pick up and use to mow the lawn without any problems, restored or in excellent condition. Hydro or gear is OK. I have a Model 126 w/ deck and plow for trade if interested or a straight sale is fine by me. I am in CT. Please email me!

Dennis - Thank you for the reply and the information. I am putting a deck on my 100 from a 126 and was wondering about the deck options. I don't think I could have gotten a better answer.

Did IH make a 50" deck for the garden tractors or was 48" the largest for the narrow frames?
