Pics of my newly arrive 1450

I finally got her this afternoon. Needs a few items.


Rear light lenses and bulbs
Front head lights don't work
center mower bearing has play
right side mower pully is wobbly - needs replacement
will replace ISO mounts after summer is over
mower deck wheels
I will probably media blast and repaint the underside of the mower deck and rear end.
New need valve for carburator


Any maintenance items you all recommend? (replace tranny fluid/filter, etc)

Like Dave says you'd get more/better response posting in the main forum but I want to comment. The 1450 looks to be in nice shape. You mentioned you plan to run it this summer before you do the iso mounts. I'd check closely underneath and make sure the oil pan is clear. If the mounts are worn the oil pan can rub against metal and cause more problems. Other than that she's ready to mow.

Ok, this style of message board is completely foreign to me. In fact, I used to be a moderator/admin of another forum and it hasn't helped me one iota in figuring this one out. How do I post in that forum? I tried but when I looked through it I saw no "post" button. I even reviewed the FAQ's, forum rules, and read the help section. Did I miss it? Mods, please feel free to move it as that is where I wanted it originally.

Wayne, I did check the oil pan and it's clear of the cross-member. The mounts below the cradle on the left side are the only mounts that are bad. The cradle is resting on the frame on that side so I may decide to replace the mounts sooner than later. I plan on doing the cradle mod as well.
